The first device measures the opening and closing of the mouth and the bite forces within the head, neck, jaw and mouth. These detailed measurements even calculate the forces on a tooth-by-tooth basis''both in motion and at rest. Once completed, the digital bite force analysis provides a graphic display of the forces and balances within the mouth. The second device measures the range of motion of the head and neck and instantly mathematically calculates a patient's deviance from normal motion. This can be the sign of various conditions. Your doctor will also perform a detailed head, neck, mouth, jaw and tooth examination to further identify any potential problems. When combined, these proprietary and comprehensive exam methods can show a doctor and a patient the potential problem areas which may be leading to a patient's unique symptoms.
