| Or, more specifically, what makes a great healthcare team? We've all been to those medical offices where the staff seem to be just counting down the minutes to 5:00 and the patients seem to be an inconvenience. Who wouldn't prefer to go to an office where the staff members are not only competent and skilled but also welcoming and engaging? So here are some things that I think are hallmarks of a great healthcare team: 1) Great team members truly care about the health of their patients. They take the time to get to know them- their fears, their desires, what makes them most comfortable, They are dedicated to their jobs and enjoy what they do!
2) Great team members know that caring for a patient doesn't end when that patient leaves the office. They are diligent about follow-up and helping patients make good choices and safeguard their health. 3) Great team members care about the practice where they are employed. They are always learning and supporting each other in delivering the very best patient care. They strive to continually get better and better at serving their patients. 4) Great team members benefit from great leadership. To the best of their ability, the doctors model compassion for their patients and appreciation for their fellow team members. As the leaders of our team here at Randolph Center for Dental Excellence, these are the attributes Dr. Bryan and I encourage our staff members to strive for. And I hope that our patients reap the benefits! |
